There is no insurance added to your order. If you would like insurance please note it when checking out. We will than add the cost of insurance to your order. Flat rate and Post Office orders there is nothing we can do for you if order is missing. You must have insurance.

Damaged during shipping?

  • Damage caused by the UPS Or USPS must be reported within 48 hours to carrier and Tools & More.
  • Any item arriving by freight truck or picked-up at terminal that has visible damage MUST be noted on delivery slip before you sign for product. If not there is nothing we can do to help you with any damage.

Can I ship multiple items?

  • Items ordered together may not always be shipped together. You will not incur any additional shipping charges if there is a need to ship your order in multiple shipments.
  • We charge actual shipping charges. Sometimes shipping costs during check out are wrong. Your card is not charged until product is shipped.

What are the charges for items 150lbs. and over?

  • Items 150 lbs or over: Will be shipped by freight truck.
    Fixed or Free freight items are shipped to a business address, with loading dock/fork lift or picked-up at freight terminal only.
    Your location must be tractor-trailer accessible.
    Freight Companies do Not consider Farms or Businesses run out of your residential address as a business, residential delivery charges will apply.
    Lift gate service is at your expense.
    Contact for costs for Resident Delivery and Lift Gate services. Other fees may apply.

  • Fixed freight cost (also includes free freight items) shown on equipment is calculated using 3 warehouse locations and your zip code. If an item is not available in the appropriate warehouse for your zip code and is available in another warehouse, we can ship from the other warehouse for an additional freight charge. If item is not available from the appropriate warehouse you will be contacted.
  • Items that are over sized or weigh over 150 pounds and require special handling will ship separately from any other items that you order. These Products will be shipped via Freight Truck. Once your order leaves our warehouse, the freight company will contact you to arrange a specific delivery time. Some items may only be delivered to a place with a loading dock/fork lift or at the freight terminal. To avoid a lift gate fee you can pick up your order at the trucking terminal. Please note that each shipment requires an adult signature upon delivery.Also be sure to fully inspect the shipment when it arrives and notify the driver of any damage.

How do I estimate my shipping charges?

  • Items that are free shipping are lower 48 states only.
  • We have a shipping estimator tool available on our shopping cart page.
  • NOTE: Some items can not be shipped via Fedex Ground, due to size, weight and hazardous materials restrictions. Shipping and handling rates are subject to change without notice.
  • Items 150 lbs or over are only shipped via Truck Line within the lower 48 states USA.
  • Our primary carriers are UPS - FED EX. Residential ground deliveries maybe subject to
    additional charges according to carriers rating schedule.
  • Areas outside the USA may incur other fees.

How do I cancel an order? How do I change my order?

Items can not be canceled once they are shipped.

How do you calculate the total cost of my order?

The total cost of your order is equal to the price of your items, plus shipping cost, plus sales tax for orders shipped to Florida. Florida residents must pay applicable sales tax.

How long does it take to receive my order when sending check or money order?

  • A check will take approximately two to three weeks.
  • A money order will take approximately two weeks.
  • Returned checks will incur a minimum $25 fee for processing each time the bank returns check.

What are the steps to place an order?

Ordering at is quick, easy and secure. Simply follow these steps to place your order.

  • To add an item to your shopping cart, click the "e;Add to Cart"e; button on any product page.
  • When you are finished shopping, click the "e;Checkout"e; button in your shopping cart.
  • Verify your billing and shipping address. Change these addresses when necessary. Enter any coupon code, if applicable, then continue with checkout.
  • Select a shipping option, then click the "e;Continue"e; button. If you have items over 150lbs. select freight. Items less than 150lbs. select FedEx. If you have both add the two rates together.
  • Enter your payment information, then click the "e;Submit Order"e; button.
  • Print your order confirmation receipt for your records. will send you order-confirmation and status updates via email if you included your email address with your billing address. In addition, you will receive email notification when your order have shipped.

What payment methods do you accept?

  • We accept the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, Discover
  • Cashiers Check or money order.
  • Bank to Bank wire transfers.
  • C.O.D. orders are not offered.

We occasionally have special sales for internet customers.


Can I return items purchased online to a Tools & More store?

No, items purchased online must be returned to our warehouse. No returns of drop shipped items.

How do I return or exchange an item?

Use our Return and Exchange Form to determine if your item can be returned and request a return or exchange.Tools & More can not accept responsibility for damage incurred after a customer has signed for the merchandise in good condition. Returns of Factory Shipped items will be subject to a minimum 15% manufacturer & restocking charge (restocking fees vary by manufacturer).

Return freight and other fees are at the customers expense

Two to four weeks.

What is your return policy?

Items can be returned within 20 days with authorization by filling out all of the information on our Return and Exchange Form . Refunds are for the cost of product less actual shipping costs for items shipped (some items are shipped at reduced cost). The actual shipping cost is not the freight cost listed with item. After 20 days, the item is subject to warranty by the manufacturer. No partial or altered items will be accepted. No opened supplies (parts) will be accepted. Returned goods must be in their original un-used condition. Return freight and other fees are at the customers expense.

Items can not be canceled or changed once they are ordered. We will try our best to stop or change order, but may not be able to. If we are able to stop order, there will be an 15% Fee.
